Investments do rise and do fall in value and we strongly advise that professional advice is taken before investing your money
The noise that is being screamed from the stock market is deafening.
If you are speculator then I am sorry for you. If you are an investor as we are then this large drop in values over a very short time frame can be disturbing, but we fear not. Warren Buffett and his disciples revel in these times as you can buy your favourite investments at a discount. Those of us who have gained experience from life, we know that the comparison of Mr Stockmarket as a mega depressive is valid, one day he is in a good mood and then on another day he is down in the dumps, The trick is to understand this and stay focused on the long term whilst being invested in a diversified portfolio. Looking back in a few years this is most likely to be just a blip on the long term chart. Remember investments do rise and fall but over time history shows it pays to not panic, so speak to your investment manager if you are concerned, or if you need advice speak to ourselves. 12/3/20 |
