Here we are in lockdown no 3.

It would appear whichever way you turn, the picture looks bleak.

They say the night is darkest before the dawn and the official messaging certainly sounds even more bleak than the first lockdown which was almost 1 year ago.

If you want to escape and be more than a number, you need to plan your escape.

Nobody can tell us the future with certainty but we can make sensible assumptions based on facts, science and history.

This is actually a great time to plan your life and your future finances because when we get going again (which we will!), people will forget what it was like to be housebound, no prospect of booking a holiday and being a ‘prisoner’ and likely get back on the same old treadmill we call life.

So, put some time aside to think about where you are today, where you want to be at a certain time in the future and make a list of actions and goals that will form part of your plan.
